Research
Her research agenda focuses on the formal and substantive aspect of citizenship. Her dissertation examines the influence of social context on political tolerance. She explains the level of political tolerance with sociotropic consideration, partisan conformity, and salience of positive consequences of political tolerance. In one of the papers, she tests whether individuals are motivated to conform to co-partisans' attitudes regarding their willingness to act on political intolerance. She addresses this relationship's biological underpinnings by observing the oxytocin hormone's moderating role.
