My research examines information integrity in the era of generative AI, with a focus on how AI systems can support, complicate, and reshape fact-checking practices. I study the use of large language models and retrieval-augmented systems to verify public claims, identify relevant evidence, assess source credibility, and make fact-checking outputs more transparent and useful. More broadly, my work investigates the limits of automated verification, including ambiguity and evidence quality.
