For the year from October 2024 to September 2025, the Center for the Study of Democratic Citizenship (CSDC) awards Interregional Presentation Grants to faculty members and postdoctoral fellows.

Beginning in September 2024, the CSDC will offer two annual application periods for the Interregional Presentation Grants:

It is strongly recommended that you carefully read and follow the instructions and requirements outlined in the guidelines.

Introduction :

One of the missions of the CSDC is to promote the development of collaborations between its members and the integration of researchers from different regions of Quebec. This is particularly the case for its faculty and postdoctoral members affiliated with the CSDC’s partner universities in Quebec.

Objective :

To promote the development of interregional collaborations between CSDC faculty members and postdoctoral fellows by helping them present their research, directly linked to CSDC research areas, at CSDC partner universities outside the region of the university with which they are affiliated.

Registration :

Registration must be submitted by email (cecd-csdc@umontreal.ca) by the host CSDC faculty member and must include:

  • Name of the host faculty member
  • Name of the invited professor or postdoctoral fellow
  • Title of the presentation
  • Location, date and time of the presentation

No later than 3 weeks before the presentation, the host faculty member must send to cecd-csdc@umontreal.ca:

All CSDC faculty and postdoctoral staff members are eligible for funding.

A host faculty member may receive one grant per registration period.

The presentation must be open to all CSDC members and preferably to the scientific community at large.
