Project
Title: To wed or not to wed? Exploring the social mechanisms of marriage formation processes among gender and sexual minorities in Canada

The project has three objectives. First, it examines regional differences in intra-household specialization patterns among married and cohabiting couples in Quebec and the rest of Canada among both same- and different-sex couples. Second, it explores how personal culture shapes marital intentions and actions among gender and sexual minority in the context of marriage equality. Finally, it investigates cohort differences in the marriage formation processes among gender and sexual minorities in Canada.
